Owl Packer Campground

Owl Packer Camp is located approximately 8 miles south of the town of Condon, MT, or about 24 miles north of Seeley Lake. It is about one mile from the Holland Lake Recreation Area and features 10 camp sites. The camp is typically open between mid-May and the end of October, weather permitting. Maximum stay is 14 days.

$5.00/each additional vehicle per night

Golden Passes are not applicable toward additional vehicle fees or firewood.

Amenities: fire rings; picnic tables; firewood ($5.00/bundle); water; vault toilets.
NOTE: THERE IS CURRENTLY NO GARBAGE SERVICE AT THIS CAMPGROUND. PLEASE PACK-IN, PACK-OUT.

Activities: Stock oriented trailhead accessing the Bob Marshall Wilderness; hiking; wildlife viewing, sight-seeing.

This campground is a first-come, first-serve facility only.

Getting There: From Montana Highway 83, travel east on the Holland Lake Road to where it intersects with Forest Service Road 44; then stay right about 1 mile (left is Holland Lake Campground). Owl Packer Camp is on your right. There are approach signs for the “Holland Lake Recreation Area” about ¼ mile north and south of intersection of the County road with the State highway. The recreation area is situated along a significant portion of the lake’s northwest shoreline. Owl Packer Camp is less than a mile past Holland Lake.
