Lid Creek Campground

Lid Creek Campground is located on the west side of Hungry Horse Reservoir approximately 15 miles south of Hungry Horse, MT. The campground has 23 sites and is typically open between mid-May and mid-September, weather permitting. Maximum stay is 16 days.

Fees:
$12.00/night (single occupancy site)
$5.00/each additional vehicle per night

Golden Passes are not applicable toward additional vehicle fees or firewood.

Amenities: fire rings; picnic tables; firewood ($5.00/bundle); vault toilets; native boat ramp (recommended for launching non-motorized watercraft only).
NOTE: THERE IS NO WATER AVAILABLE.

Activities: boating; fishing; hiking; biking; wildlife viewing, sight-seeing.

Getting There:Turn off U.S. Highway 2 at milepost 144 and follow the West Side Hungry Horse Reservoir Road (Forest Road #895) across the Hungry Horse Dam. The site is 11 miles south of the Dam. The road is paved to the site.
